Welcome to the home of the British Leafy Salad Association

The British Leafy Salad Association (BLSA) was established over 35 years ago to promote the production of Iceberg lettuce. It now covers all leafy salad crops – wholehead, babyleaf and speciality. The Association is a registered society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014.

The BLSA provides its members with technical and practical resources and expertise. It supports its growers to meet the challenges of producing food sustainably in the natural environment, for a growing population and in a changing climate.
